📋 Match Details

A big test is on the horizon for the Town, as they head down to Penybont in search for vital points in an attempt to push for a top six place. After last weekend’s defeat to Briton Ferry Llansawel, it leaves the Lakesiders in 8th position and two points away from sixth place with six games remaining of Phase One.

The hosts currently occupy 2nd position in the league, although two defeats in their last three fixtures have let both Caernarfon Town and Connah’s Quay Nomads close the gap with just a point between them.

📈Opponents Form

The Bont were comfortably beaten by Connah’s Quay Nomads in their last outing, with the Nomads running out 4-0 winners and were narrow victors against Flint Town with a 4-3 win at the Essity Stadium. However, with three defeats in their last four league outings, the Bont have Caernarfon Town and Connah’s Quay Nomads closing in on their second position, with Bont on 29 points and both Caernarfon and Nomads sit on 28 points.

🔙 Recent Meetings

The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 0-0 draw at Maes Tegid on Matchday Six, however the meeting prior at Maes Tegid ended in a 3-2 win for the Town as Liam Higgins, Callum Edwards and Lassana Mendes all got on the scoresheet. Our last meeting in Bridgend also ended in a 3-2 scoreline, however it was in favour of Bridgend after James Crole netted a 95th minute winner after Joe Malkin's brace.
