Match Preview: Newtown vs Bala Town

It's a first away trip of Phase Two for the Lakesiders, as we head to mid-Wales to take on Newtown at Latham Park as we return to league action following our progression in the JD Welsh Cup.

The Lakesiders come into today's game having secured our place in the JD Welsh Cup Semi Finals with a 3-0 win over Flint Mountain at Maes Tegid, but are yet to see victory in Phase Two of the JD Cymru Premier, with a draw and defeat to Cardiff Met and The New Saints respectively.

The Robins on the other hand, are without victory in their last six outings and currently sit in 5th place on 33 points and have Caernarfon Town sitting level with them. Despite going ahead in their last match, they would eventually be defeated 3-2 by Connah's Quay Nomads.

Our last trip to Latham Park would end in a 1-0 defeat despite a spirited effort from the Town, with Aaron Williams scoring the only goal of the game.
