📋 Match Details

October begins with a trip to the Capital to face Cardiff Met as we reach the halfway stage of Phase One in the JD Cymru Premier. The Town sit 4th with 15 points after 10 games, having grabbed big victories against Connah's Quay Nomads away from home and a double over Colwyn Bay.

On the other hand, Met go into this fixture in 10th position and just one point outside the relegation zone, with just one victory, five draws and four defeats. However, the Met's last outing provided their first victory of the season, as they put three past Caernarfon Town without reply away from home.

📈Opponents Form

The Met have accumulated eight points in their opening 10 games, with the majority of their points coming from their level games having seen five draws so far and just the one victory. Although, after last weekend's result, there will be no panic from the side hailing from the Capital as they pulled off a major scalp against Caernarfon.

🔙 Recent Meetings

The Lakesiders are without victory in this fixture since March 2024 with George Newell scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at Cyncoed Campus. Since our last victory against the Met, there have been five meetings between the two sides, which have ended in two draws and three defeats for the Town. The most recent meeting was in last season's European Play-Off's as Cardiff Met's Ryan Reynolds scored an agonisingly late goal in the 93rd minute to bring the Lakesiders' season to a disappointing end, in which would be Colin Caton's final game in charge.
