Danger Man

Okera Simmonds - Flint’s Summer Signing; Okera Simmonds made a bright start at his new club, as he grabbed three goals in his first four league appearances, as the Silkmen won three out of their first four league fixtures. The 22 year old has however stuttered in recent matches, having found the net just once in his last eight appearances in all competitions. Although, at just 22 years of age, there’s plenty of time for the Manchester born player to shine, and therefore you cannot rule him out from providing something special in tonight’s match!

Previous Meetings

The Lakesiders have a pretty good record against the Silkmen in recent meetings, having not lost in our last eight meetings, with only one draw in all of the eight fixtures. However, the Flintshire side did manage a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture of this season, as they snatched a late equaliser to claw a point back at the Essity Stadium. Although, our last meeting with Flint came in October, as the Lakesiders progressed through to the fourth round of the JD Welsh Cup with a 2-0 win at Maes Tegid.
