Danger Man
Michael Wilde - Wilde sits in joint-sixth in the Cymru Premier Goalscoring Charts this season, with 10 goals to his name in his 24 appearances. The Forward also recorded two goals in two appearances in the Nathaniel MG Cup this season, and three goals in four appearances in the JD Welsh Cup, taking his total tally for the season to 15. The 39 year old veteran's last goal came in the opening day of the Championship Conference, where he netted a 90th minute equaliser against Newtown as both sides shared the points. However, he did record an assist in his previous appearance against the Lakesiders on the 18th of February, as he set up Jack Kenny after just 14 minutes of the match, where eventually both teams shared the spoils following a stunner from Adam Roscrow to claw a point back.
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders are without victory over the Nomads in the Cymru Premier in our last four meetings, however we have been on top in Cup competitions recently. The Town were victorious in the Nathaniel MG Cup Final following a penalty shootout against the Nomads just over two months ago. The last time the Lakesiders came out on top in the league was in a 1-0 victory at the Deeside Stadium back in September 2021, as a Dave Edwards free-kick collected all three points after the Nomads Captain; George Horan was sent off. The most recent meeting saw the Lakesiders edge past the Nomads in our JD Welsh Cup Semi Final tie, as Chris Venables' 86th minute winner sealed a 3-2 victory and a JD Welsh Cup Final place for the Town.
