Match Preview: Bala Town vs Cefn Druids

We return to Maes Tegid on matchday eight as Cefn Druids are the visitors. The Ancients are still searching for their first points of the season having lost every game, sitting rock bottom of the league.

The last meeting between the two came at the back end of last season as we secured a 3-1 away victory against the Ancients with the help of an Ollie Shannon brace.

Danger Man

George Harry – The Wrexham academy product has only scored one goal so far this season, but certainly has the talent to cause the Lakesiders problems when the Ancients are on the attack. Cefn Druids will rely on him if they are to create anything having only scored four goals in total across all competitions. Having come out of local team Wrexham’s academy, Harry scored on his first senior start for the Red Dragons but has since gone on to continue his career in the Welsh Premier League. He has played for the likes of Bangor, Llandudno, Newtown and Aberystwyth. The 22-year-old also scored against the Lakesiders for Bangor in 2018, helping them secure a 2-1 away victory that day.
