We finally get our 2025 underway following multiple postponements of our match with Caernarfon Town, leading to today's game being played at home away from home in Llandudno following the continuous freezing conditions at Maes Tegid.
The Lakesiders are unbeaten in the league since October 4th, despite only picking up 13 points out of a possible 27 points having seen seven draws in that time and only two wins against The New Saints and Barry Town.
The Canaries were beaten on Boxing Day by The New Saints despite a valiant first half effort after pegging the Champions back twice, only for the Saints to run out 5-2 winners in the end. Our visitors last recorded victory in their 3-2 win against Barry Town on the 14th of December, as Matty Jones scored an 82nd minute winner.

Danger Man
Louis Lloyd: The 21 year old joins Rhys Hughes of Connah's Quay Nomads at the top of the JD Cymru Premier goalscoring chart, having scored 10 goals in 20 appearances so far this season. Lloyd has had a fine December scoring four goals in four games, including a goal in his last outing against The New Saints despite falling to a 5-2 defeat at the Oval. The Welshman will be looking to add to his tally as both sides today look to fight over the last remaining 'Top Six' spots in the league table before the split on January 11th.
Previous Meetings
It's been a series of draws in the last chunk of meetings between the two sides, with 3x 1-1 draws, 1x 2-2 draw and a goalless draw. However, prior to the last five meetings it was the Town who were collecting the spoils, with five wins on the bounce in both the league and one Nathaniel MG Cup triumph. The last Caernarfon win in this fixture came back in the 2020/21 season, as the Canaries put three past the Lakesiders without return at the Oval, with the Town having already secured European football the fixture before heading to the Oval.
