📋 Match Details

After being knocked out of the JD Welsh Cup at the hands of Connah's Quay Nomads last weekend, the Lakesiders return to league action with a desperate need for three points after a run of four consecutive defeats.

The visitors today have also hit a sticky patch in the league, taking just two points in their last four league matches, only picking up a single point against Caernarfon Town and Connah's Quay Nomads. However, Barry would progress to the next round of the JD Welsh Cup with a 5-0 win over Cymru South side Aberystwyth Town.

📈Opponents Form

Barry currently sit in 6th position in the JD Cymru Premier, with three wins on the board but have the joint most draws alongside Colwyn Bay and Cardiff Met with six draws each. Their wins have come against Llanelli Town, Haverfordwest County and a 4-0 win against the Lakesiders at Jenner Park in September. However, their recent run of four games without victory see them sit on 15 points with Cardiff Met and the Lakesiders, with the race for a top six place starting to heat up slowly.

🔙 Recent Meetings

The last meeting at Maes Tegid saw the Lakesiders take the three points in a 3-1 win, as Eddie Clarke, Joe Malkin and Hussein Mehasseb all score to get into a three goal lead, before a late consolation goal from Barry's Ieuan Owen in the 90th minute. Although, the last meeting between the two sides was a very disappointing one, as two goals in both halves for Barry saw the Lakesiders fall to a 4-0 defeat in-front of the Sgorio cameras. This fixture has seen the Lakesiders pick up five wins in the last 13 fixtures between both sides, with Barry picking up three wins,
