On the eve of Bonfire Night, the Lakesiders look to fire up your weekend, as we host Aberystwyth Town at Maes Tegid on Matchday 13 of the Cymru Premier season. The Town head into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw with Penybont who made the trip to Maes Tegid last Saturday afternoon, as Luke Wall's equaliser salvaged a point against our close rivals.
On the other hand, Aberystwyth Town charge into tonight's encounter on the back of a 2-1 home win against Flint Town, as a late Niall Flint goal grabbed all three points for the mid-Wales side. The Seasiders currently sit in 8th place in the league standings, with five wins and seven defeats, but have the third worst defence in the league with 24 goals conceded.

Danger Man
Alex Darlington: Despite only making eight league appearances so far this season, the Veteran has three goals to his name and is Aber’s leading goalscorer in the league. The Forward has mainly come off the bench in his eight appearances, with only 346 game minutes played, and has only completed one full 90 minute match in the league. However, there is no doubt the 33 year old can pop up with a goal should he get half a chance, and will most definitely be a threat should he feature today.
Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders have only dropped two points in seven league meetings with tonight's visitors, with seven wins in our last eight meetings in all competitions, including a 2-1 home victory over Aber in the JD Welsh Cup Quarter Final last season. Despite going down to 10 men very early on in our previous meeting, an invigorated Lakesiders side managed a 4-1 away victory over the Seasiders back at the start of September, therefore we expect goals this evening!
