The Lakesiders will be looking to bounce back from our 3-1 defeat to the New Saints in mid-week, which ultimately sent the Town out of the Nathaniel MG Cup at the Quarter Final stage.
It was victory against Llanrhaeadr ym Mochnant which led the Town to the Third Round of the JD Welsh Cup, as a Lassana Mendes hat-trick would secure a 3-1 victory at Maes Tegid.
Flint made their way to Round Three of the JD Welsh Cup through a convincing 5-1 victory against Gresford Athletic, with all five of Flint’s goals coming in the second half. However, since their JD Welsh Cup victory, it has been a winless run of three games in the JD Cymru Premier, despite scoring in every game.

Previous Meetings
The Lakesiders are unbeaten in our last 11 fixtures against Flint, with eight league victories, two draws draw and a JD Welsh Cup victory. Our last meeting would end in a 2-2 draw, as Flint equalised in the 96th minute through Ben Hughes after the Town fought back from 1-0 down, with Hussein Mehasseb and Osebi Abadaki scoring within two minutes of each other. Both sides met at the exact stage of this competition last season, and it would be the Lakesiders who came out on top in a 2-0 win at Maes Tegid.
