Match Preview: Bala Town vs Flint Town
After a well needed nine-day break, the Lakesiders return to action on matchday 14 to face highflyers Flint Town. The Silkmen have had a solid season up to this point as they sit 2nd in the table, only six points behind the league leaders TNS.
It was another Friday night fixture that saw us last face Flint when we visited the Essity stadium on the opening day of October. Bala came back from an early Michael Wilde setback that night to secure a dramatic late win via Dave Edwards’ glorious injury-time effort.

Danger Man
Michael Wilde – Flint Town’s main man rescued his side a point against Cefn Druids before the break and has grabbed all the attention at the Essity stadium following his controversial transfer in the summer. He sits 2ndin the Cymru Premier’s top goal scorerstable, having netted a total of 11 goals across twelve games played. He’s hasan impressive statistic of having produced a goal contribution for every game this campaign. The Lakesiders will also be wary of the threat he holds having scored against us in our recent battle earlier on in the campaign, where the 38-year-old gave his side the lead before Bala fought back to win.
