📋 Match Details

With just five games remaining of Phase One in the JD Cymru Premier, three points is a must for the Lakesiders this afternoon if the hunt for a top six place is to carry on. After a run of just one win in our last eight league fixtures, it leaves the Town in 8th position and four points away from the top six with today's visitors just two points above with a game in hand.

The Met could go into the top six today with a win, with just two points separating them and Barry Town who currently occupy the sixth position with 23 points. Recent successes in the league and JD Welsh Cup will surely put the Met in a confident position going into today's match.

📈Opponents Form

Met have been on a tremendous run since the end of September, with seven victories, one draw and just one defeat in all competitions, which has seen them dump The New Saints out of the JD Welsh Cup and also inflict the Saints' first defeat in the league since the beginning of the season. The team from the Capital have picked the right time to pull out a run like this, with the end of Phase One closing in and the race for a top six place beginning to heat up.

🔙 Recent Meetings

It's not a great read for the Lakesiders in the recent meeting between the two sides, with no victory in this fixture in our last six meetings which now stretches back to March 2024. The last meeting at Maes Tegid was back in March this year, as both sides played out a goalless draw in the JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference. Our last meeting ended in a 2-0 defeat at Cyncoed Campus, with Storm Amy playing a massive part in the outcome of the match, as Met's second goal was aided by the storm inside the first 45 minutes.
