Following our disappointing defeat on Tuesday night to Connah’s Quay Nomads, the Lakesiders are looking to bounce back quickly as we head to Park Avenue to take on Aberystwyth Town on Matchday Five.
Both sides have endured a tough start to the Cymru Premier season, with both sides sitting in the bottom half of the table, with Bala on four points and tonight's hosts on three points, however they sit in the relegation places.

Alex Darlington - The Cymru Premier veteran has opened his account for the season with two goals so far, scoring in Aber's first game of the season against Airbus UK and in their 2-1 loss to newly promoted Pontypridd United. The 33 year old will be looking to help his team to victory this evening as they look to get their second win of the season, and with two goals in the opening four fixtures, he will most definitely be looking to add to his tally should he feature.
It's been a rather comfortable task taking on Aber for the Lakesiders in recent seasons, with only two points dropped against the Seasiders in our previous six league fixtures. Our previous meeting was in fact the only time we have dropped points in recent years, as a 94th minute equaliser from Jamie Veale snatched a point from the match, as the sides drew 2-2 back in February this year. The Town also dumped Aber out of the JD Welsh Cup last season, despite Harry Franklin's goal in the 86th minute making a cause for concern in the final minutes.
