Bala Town Football Club can confirm the departure of Steve Leslie, as he joins Northern Premier League Premier Division side Grantham Town FC.
Leslie joined the Lakesiders in July 2019 after signing from fellow Cymru Premier side Newtown AFC, having spent a year with the Robins. The former Shrewsbury Town man made his competitive debut for the Lakesiders in a Nathaniel MG Cup tie against Gresford, scoring 22 minutes into his debut in a 7-0 win against the lower league side.
During his time at Maes Tegid, the Midfielder made over 70 appearances in all competitions, producing countless goal contributions. He was also responsible for a memorable assist provided to Chris Venables in our Europa League First Qualifying Round tie against Valletta in Malta, which secured a Second Qualifying Round tie for the first time in our history.
