Chief Exec Programme notes v Caernarfon 8/3/24

A quick return to Maes Tegid this evening after a superb victory over Connahs Quay last Friday evening. We will clearly hoping to build on the confidence gained after 2 back to back wins and also on the excellent standard of performance during both of these fixtures. But as we are all aware it will be exceedingly tough this evening against our opponents who arrive on the back of a very good result last Friday evening as well. The Gwynedd Derby always produces a hard fought encounter and we can expect no difference tonight. Both Clubs are in need of the priceless points on offer and certainly another win for us this evening would go a long way to securing 3rd spot in the JD Cymru Premier. A very warm welcome to all who have travelled from Caernarfon and I hope we are treated to an exciting and entertaining encounter at Maes Tegid this evening.

I must also congratulate T.N.S. on securing the League Championship last weekend. It is amazing that this title has been won at such an early stage but it clearly demonstrates the gulf between the Champions and all the other Clubs in the Premier League. I am sure we will all continue to try to catch up with TNS but their resources are fundamentally way ahead of most of the other Clubs and the gulf appears to be getting bigger each season. We can only do our best to try to challenge their dominance.

As we are all aware our Sponsors are the lifeblood of our Club and tonight we are once again hugely grateful to A.N. Richards Ltd who are sponsoring tonight’s match. This well known North Wales Transport Company have been kind sponsors of the Club for many years and we are greatly indebted to them for this continued support. I hope that their guests tonight at Maes Tegid will enjoy the hospitality and the whole occasion.

The Club are also extremely grateful to Rob Beattie for his Match Ball Sponsorship of tonight’s match. Rob is always so most welcome at Maes Tegid and his support and enthusiasm for the Bragdy Cup is exceptional. We all look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy the match this evening. Diolch yn fawr Rob.

We travel to Cardiff Met next Saturday for another crucial League fixture and then will play the JD Cwpan Cymru Semi Final the Saturday after. This match against Connahs Quay will be hosted in Llandudno with a 5.15pm kick off. These are hugely exciting times at Bala Town and we are proud of our efforts and performances to maintain the highest standards and achievements in Welsh domestic Football. Da iawn pawb wir!!

Thank as always for your attendance this evening. It promises to be such an important evening for our Club.

Diolch . Nigel.
