Our very own number 29 Ollie Shannon is running the 2022 London Marathon this Sunday 2nd of October, as he aims to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Ollie will be running the Marathon in memory of his Mother, Amanda Shannon, who sadly passed away on the 21st of February 2016 due to a grade IV Glioblastoma Brain Tumour, having battled with the disease for 18 months.
He originally planned to run the Marathon in 2020, however due to COVID, he was forced to push it back to this year and is now raring to go.
Ollie has a justgiving page set up for donations, with all donations to go to The Brain Tumour Charity, as he aims to raise as much funds as possible for the charity, that needs more attention and support
to ensure further research can be made to enhance treatment to tackle this awful disease.
We would appreciate just as much as Ollie, if you could donate any amount to the justgiving page below, to help Ollie's cause and to support him through the race.
