Calum Woods joined the Lakesiders from Indian Super League side SC East Bengal back in June 2021. Woods competed in the English Football League for the majority of his career, however his first club at senior level was Scottish side Dunfermline Athletic, after being released by Liverpool FC at a young age.
After spending five seasons up in Scotland, Woods returned to England with Huddersfield Town and won promotion in his first season with the Terriers, making their way into the Championship. Although, he would go back to League One with Preston North End, and again repeated the same feat and won promotion to the Championship in his first season.
After five season with Preston, Bradford City came calling in League One but after just a year at the club, he would be released at the end of his contract after the club were relegated to League Two. He would stay in League One, as Tranmere Rovers offered Woods a one-year contract in 2019, but made just 16 appearances in all competitions.
After spells at FC United of Manchester and SC East Bengal, Woods would join the Lakesiders before the club's UEFA Europa Conference League tie with Larne FC, where Woods would feature in both leg's.
